The 2026 Premier Padel season opened with drama and history in Riyadh. Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia, the world No.1 pairing, continued their dominance by defeating Alejandro Galan and Federico Chingotto 6-4, 6-2 in the 30th edition of padel modern Superclasico. This victory marks their 32nd Premier Padel trophy together, an unmatched benchmark on the circuit.
On the women side, Ariana Sanchez and Andrea Ustero made history as the first all-Catalan duo to capture a Premier Padel title. They produced a superb comeback to defeat top seeds Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. At just 18 years old, Ustero lifts her second circuit title. For Sanchez, this marks her 18th career crown, extending her record as the most decorated active player on tour.
The tour resumes in early March when the world elite converge on Gijon for the season first P2 event.
